Cannulated Interference Screw, 9 dia. x 20 mm Length, Sterile, Single-Use, Disposable, Latex-Free, Rounded Head Provides Secure Protection of the Graft during Transtibial Endoscopic ACL Reconstruction
The sheathed interference screw with rounded head provides secure protection of the graft during transtibial endoscopic ACL reconstruction. The new translucent sheath improves arthroscopic visualization of the screw during insertion and eases introduction through arthroscopy portals and fat pad. The sheath also facilitates arthroscopic screw removal from the femoral tunnel during size changes or revision procedures by backing the screw into the sheath which holds the screw during removal from the joint. The larger cannulation allows insertion over a 2 mm diameter nitinol guide pin with 25 and 30 mm depth markings. The 2 mm diameter helps to reduce divergence which may cause traditional smaller diameter pins to bend or kink, making them difficult to remove.
