This modified T-tube design is for the surgeon who prefers a grommet-style flange on the lateral end. The grommet is notched in a "butterfly" shape for added visibility during insertion. The flexible medial flanges are easily inserted through a small incision and permit long-term ventilation. The lumen features an 11% larger inner diameter than the standard T-tube.
