The Penumbra System Max family of reperfusion catheters represents devices intended for use in the revascularization of patients with acute ischemic stroke secondary to large vessel occlusion disease. The 3 Max and 4 Max systems feature max tracking technology that allows access over a solo guidewire for ease of use while the 5 Max combines max tracking technology with a larger lumen. The Max family of reperfusion catheters is part of Penumbra System Max and is intended for use with Penumbra Engine and hi-flow aspiration tubing.
