LMA Unique is the single-use LMA Classic and is used for the same indications as the LMA Classic. It is differentiated by having a polyvinylchloride (PVC) cuff and is supplied sterile (sterilized by ethylene oxide) for single-use only. The LMA Unique can be used for a wide range of routine applications ranging from general anesthesia to emergency use or as a resuscitation device. LMA Unique is made primarily of medical grade PVC and is not made with natural rubber latex. The device is only for use by medical professionals trained in airway management.
