Parietex Composite (PCO) hiatal mesh makes the surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and hiatal hernia viable. While ordinary meshes can carry the risk of in-growth into the oesophagus, Parietex Composite is coated on one side with a protective collagen-based film to help minimize tissue attachment. Its unique design provides for easy placement of the mesh for hiatal hernia repair.
